Overview

torrentipleak is a network-check tool that creates temporary BitTorrent tracker sessions and shows announce events for those sessions.

What We Process

When a BitTorrent client announces to the tracker endpoint, we process and store:

• source IP address
• source port
• announce event
• timestamp
• peer ID
• uploaded, downloaded, and left bytes (if provided by client)
• raw announce query data

Why IP Addresses Are Logged

IP address logging is required by the core functionality of this service. The purpose of torrentipleak is to display the network identity observed by the tracker during announce requests.

Data Processors

We use the following processors/infrastructure providers:

• Cloudflare
• Netcup

Retention

Session data is temporary and currently intended to expire automatically (default target TTL: 24 hours).
